Whimsy Station

Sara Carrero is the Creator of Whimsy and Wonder at Whimsy Station, where she is trying to bring a bit more magic into the world, one craft at a time.

Sara has been crafting in various forms since childhood. In the years since, many things haven’t changed, like her love of creating tiny worlds. Five-year-old Sara often created whole scenes on a tiny Post-It note, while adult Sara constructs magical libraries in pocket watch cases. At this point her projects range from making polymer clay creations, to drawing, sewing, and jewelry making, to creating miniature worlds, 3D printing, and laser engraving. So far…

She always has multiple craft projects in progress, but these days Sara’s focus is on polymer clay—sculpting fantastical creatures, flowers, trinket boxes, pendants, and more. She hopes her work brings people joy and reminds them that there is wonder in the world.

You can always visit Whimsy Station online (whimsystation.com), but Whimsy Station has also been found at various craft fairs and markets in the Lehigh Valley such as the Wicked Plant Fest, Mystic Market, Pride Party Palooza, Steel City Fair, and Christkindlmarkt (for the first time in 2025!).
