Sage & Slip is handmade artisan pottery by Lehigh Valley native, Victoria Pitt. Founded in June of 2022, this creative pursuit combines her passion for handmade craftsmanship with functional art. Victoria draws on a breadth of skills and techniques collected from her decades as a professional graphic artist, maker and educator.

Victoria’s pottery is largely inspired by her passion for the outdoors and love for the wildlife in those spaces. 3 dimensional figures of foxes, deer, raccoons, rabbits and squirrels can be found on her most popular pieces. Her nostalgic pop culture pieces inspired by her childhood in the 80s and 90s are also fan favorites.

Victoria is a stained glass artist as well! She loves to work in glass whenever she has a creative block with pottery or just needs a pallet refresher. She derives joy from working in a completely different medium and enjoys the creative challenges that working in glass brings.

Sara Carrero is the Creator of Whimsy and Wonder at Whimsy Station, where she is trying to bring a bit more magic into the world, one craft at a time.

Sara has been crafting in various forms since childhood. In the years since, many things haven’t changed, like her love of creating tiny worlds. Five-year-old Sara often created whole scenes on a tiny Post-It note, while adult Sara constructs magical libraries in pocket watch cases. At this point her projects range from making polymer clay creations, to drawing, sewing, and jewelry making, to creating miniature worlds, 3D printing, and laser engraving. So far…

She always has multiple craft projects in progress, but these days Sara’s focus is on polymer clay—sculpting fantastical creatures, flowers, trinket boxes, pendants, and more. She hopes her work brings people joy and reminds them that there is wonder in the world.

You can always visit Whimsy Station online (whimsystation.com), but Whimsy Station has also been found at various craft fairs and markets in the Lehigh Valley such as the Wicked Plant Fest, Mystic Market, Pride Party Palooza, Steel City Fair, and Christkindlmarkt (for the first time in 2025!).

Larry Sceurman grew up in the Kaywin section of Bethlehem, Pa., in the 1950s and 1960s.

In his early teens, he worked with his grandfather in a small auto body repair shop where he observed that stories were a big part of the human experience. From vocational teacher to storyteller and now author, Larry has learned and shared the value of stories. He mixes truth and fiction to produce enjoyable, thought-provoking snippets of life.

Larry became an educator in his twenties, a storyteller in his fifties, a writer in his sixties, and a published author of nostalgic fiction in his seventies. Larry, who learned he had dyslexia in his late twenties, discovered that it had made him a good listener.

Bookworm’s Magical Journey is his first children’s book. He has recently written and drawn his second, Frog and Crow’s Conversation. His historical fiction for adults includes the novella (featuring the Fullerton area in the 1970s) The Death of Big Butch and his short story collection, Coffee in the Morning.

Larry is influenced by the writings of Laura E. Richards, John O’Connor, Richard Ford, Michael J. Meade, Richard Rohr, and Billy Collins.

Ochs dove into speculative fiction with his epic fantasy “Pindlebryth of Lenland.” From tales scare-tested with live audiences, he crafted a collection of mirthful macabre short stories, “If I Can’t Sleep, You Can’t Sleep.” His gritty urban fantasy/horror, “My Friend Jackson,” won Finalist in Indies Today’s Best Books of 2020. “Eldritch, Inc.” hit the streets running, premiering at Philcon 2024, with at least four more novels stirring in the cauldron. Hi! I’m Emily Kitt. I’m an award-winning jewelry artist and instructor with over 25 years of experience, and a whole lot of passion. I first learned metalworking while in college and studying Art Education at Kutztown University, and it quickly became something I couldn’t live without. I worked in the book publishing world for 10 years while tinkering away in the studio during downtime from work. I continued learning new techniques, was part of a wonderful jewelry artist collective (Bluestem Studio), and when the collection parted ways, I set out on my own. Now, I’m a full time jewelry artist based out of Quakertown, Pennsylvania. Thanks to primarily selling my work online, I have clients across the globe. My jewelry has been featured by industry leaders Interweave and Rio Grande, published in magazines, and has received numerous awards. I participate in a handful of art shows and markets each year, and despite not having a brick-and-mortar presence, I can still meet with clients who prefer face-to-face communication versus email.

Creating jewelry is my passion, as is adhering to eco-friendly methods and materials… it’s not just better for the earth, but healthier for myself and anyone else who spends time in my studio. The majority of my pieces are one of a kind; I feel that each person is unique, so their jewelry should be, too! I’m lucky enough for my dream job to be a full time gig, and it’s all thanks to wonderful people like yourself who support independent artists who make each piece by hand.

Along with creating jewelry, I also teach jewelry classes and workshops at the Baum School of Art in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
