    MiLV - Studio729 - Heart Mosaic Print

Creativity is at the center of everything I do and it all began with a big box of colorful Crayola crayons, which I got every year for Christmas along with the belief and encouragement that I could do whatever I wanted to.  My love of art flourished over the years, leading to a formal degree from Moravian College.

I work in all media to create still lifes, landscapes and portraits, and abstract art.  I also recently started to add my original works to mugs, tee shirts and other products, all of which can be seen and ordered from my Etsy shop.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions

Wild Breath of Storms, an Abstract Painting by Easton Fine Artist Kat Collins.

Kat Collins is an acclaimed abstract artist based in Easton, Pennsylvania, known for her vibrant and emotionally charged mixed-media paintings. Graduating with a BFA from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2000, she has since cultivated a distinctive style characterized by spontaneous mark-making, layered textures, and a rich palette of colors.

This eclectic approach allows her to explore the depths of human emotion and experience, drawing inspiration primarily from life, music, and poetry. Her works are a powerful emotional landscape to get lost in.

Her work has garnered recognition through exhibitions at esteemed venues such as the Ronald K. De Long Gallery, Connexions Gallery, and David E. Rodale and Rodale Family Galleries in Pennsylvania, as well as Gallery 840, The Boyer Gallery, Midnight Gallery, NoName Gallery, and Sigal Museum. She has also exhibited at galleries in New Jersey and North Carolina.

Kat’s art is a reflection of her deeply subjective and emotional engagement with the world. She continues to captivate audiences with her dynamic and evocative compositions, inviting them on a journey of introspection and discovery.

    QuiltsbyMarie6

Quilts by Marie is a small hobby artist and quilter, who has been quilting for over 40 years, and enjoys all things colorful and complex. A former Lehigh Valley math professor, she designs many of her quilts using the shapes and colors of nature and cultural beauty as inspiration. Over the years she has completed over 100 art quilts and given many away as gifts.

All of the quilts are made with designer fabrics and the finest threads. They are mainly hand stitched and machine quilted. The stitched quilting patterns on top of the fabrics add additional interest and complexity to each piece. Marie is open to discuss custom requests. Please note: Many of the quilts in the gallery below are currently for sale. E-mail for sizes and availability.

I approach photography from a fine art perspective, attempting to go beyond simply capturing what’s in front of me and adding my own interpretation to the scene. My goal with each of my images is to illustrate the mood I experienced while being at that specific location and evoke an emotional response from the viewer.

While fine art photography is my primary focus, I also periodically make photo composites when I want to create an image outside the realm of reality. Tapping inspiration from surrealist and abstract artists, I combine and manipulate my own photographs to bring my ideas to life.

In addition, I’ve started offering portrait sessions to individuals, couples, and families on a limited basis. I enjoy finding aesthetically pleasing locations for photo shoots and using natural light to my advantage, with the hope that clients walk away with unique keepsakes for themselves and their families.

Please reach out to me at any time to inquire about fine art prints or to book a portrait session!

    Ryan Olszewski, Artist & Photgrapher

Ryan Olszewski is a pastel, drawing and ceramic artist based in Allentown, PA, who creates especially detailed and anatomically accurate pieces inspired by the wildlife around him. Ryan uses his passion for nature, as well as his education background (B.S. in Marine Science and Environmental Science from East Stroudsburg University), to create pieces that emphasize the gorgeous shapes and structural details that make his subjects unique. Additionally, he has a special interest in ornithology and anatomy, and recently has been working with the Lehigh Valley Zoo to help raise Zoo conservation funds through his artwork.

Ryan’s creations include handmade pottery and sculptures, wildlife art drawings, commissioned pet portraits, 3D prototyping, metalwork, photography, senior portraits, and commercial/industrial photography. He has also done several photo shoots for other Made in the Lehigh Valley members’ pages!

Ryan teaches pottery to students in-person, and hopes to eventually build his business into a ceramics/pottery teaching studio and small storefront with his daughter. He is looking forward to meeting and collaborating with other artists in the future!

Ryan’s full store of products can be found at his website.
